One or two things of importance

Strategize: Two Things. Glen Whitman says ""For every subject, there are really only two things you really need to know. Everything else is the application of those two things, or just not important." His examples are compelling. We like to think that when it comes to communicating in marketing (from soda, to software to presidential candidates), it all comes down to one thing - your promise. One promise. Loud, clear and repeated often.

this is great. i especially liked:

1. Win or learn.
2. You don't need two rules, refer to rule #1.

thanks for the comment.
