10 weeks at top 25
Sorry to brag a bit but just checking and it is nice to see that we have just entered ten straight weeks in Amazon's top 25 bestselling marketing books category. In some really great company too - with Malcolm Gladwell, Seth Godin and Phil Kotler at or near the top through most of these weeks. Below is the weekly breakdown (for further detail see previous entry):
| Week | Marketing Rank |
| 1 | 1 |
| 2 | 15 |
| 3 | 5 |
| 4 | 2 |
| 5 | 18 |
| 6 | 26 |
| 7 | 11 |
| 8 | 24 |
| 9 | 24 |
| 10 | 18 |
This is of course not to mention all the screaming sales happening at my mom's favorite bookstore in my hometown (it's amazing how valuable retired ladies seem to be finding marketing and strategy advice).

I didn't see a "Contact Us", so I thought I'd post this here...
FYI, I just noticed that NetZero's latest TV ads are an attempt to start an ISP drag race with AOL. NetZero has developed TV ads that closely parallel and mock AOL's ads.
I particularly like the one where the administrative assisitant walks into the room of her boss and states that (note: the following quotes are paraphrased as I don't have a script in front of me) "We have some customers here who want you to know they've switched to NetZero." The boss replies, "Really, how many?" The assistant looks out the window and says "I think, all of them." Then they show the crowd outside of the AOL headquarters with NetZero signs as the crowd in unison says and waves "Goodbye". If you like sarcasm, you'll like these ads.
Here's an article on Slate.com that discusses them:
